I discovered photography at the age of 16. Back then, I bought a compact camera without any specific reason. From that moment on, I started exploring the technical aspects of photography, which unleashed a flood of inspiration within me. In no time, photography grew into a huge passion.

While I initially photographed a variety of subjects, such as abandoned buildings, portraits, and events, one subject has always captivated me the most: nature. Nowhere else do I experience the joy of immersing myself in nature and losing myself in the moment of capturing a photo. When photographing, I enjoy observing my surroundings before I begin. For me, a photo is most successful when I feel that I’ve enjoyed the moment of capturing it, combined with a good result. In my opinion, patience is essential, along with accepting that sometimes a photo just isn’t good enough. If I had to describe my current photography, I’d think of serenity, balance, and simplicity.

In addition to digital photography, I also enjoy working with my 4x5 large-format camera, where observing the environment and composition become even more important.
